Physiotherapy Clinic

Physical Therapy is one of the keys to managing joint pain. Our physical therapists actively engage the patient in rehabilitation and exercises. Physical Therapy helps place patients on the right track by exercising weak points and regaining strength that may have been lost.

A child or pediatric, neurologist specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neurologic disorders in children from the neonatal period through adolescence. Some of the conditions overlap with those seen by adult neurologists, and others are unique to this younger population. Child neurologists treat many of the same common conditions found in adults such as migraine, epilepsy, stroke, and Tourette’s and are also trained in conditions related to neurogenetics and developmental problems.

Decompression Therapy

Inter-vertebral Disc Decompression is a modern non-surgical technology providing decompression therapy to the spine. It comprises of a series of treatment sessions that are specifically designed for each patient.

How does it work?

This technology is designed to provide non-surgical treatment utilizing differential dynamics. This relieves pressure on the spinal nerves involved, especially those associated with herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, posterior facet syndrome, and alleviates sciatica. The treatment protocol achieves these effects through decompression of intervertebral discs, unloading through distraction and positioning. Each treatment session is designed according to the level of problem. During the session, the patient is closely monitored and after 10 treatments, the patient is reviewed for progress which can be in terms of pain, motor activity, sensation, function & ROM. Decompression Therapy.

s an electronic device which therapists use for the analysis and therapy of the musculoskeletal system. During treatment, the structures which are not functioning optimally are oscillated as per the structure's natural frequencies - this occurs through the use of gentle mechanical impulses. The results are displayed in real-time on the monitor, and the treatment stops automatically as soon as the optimal resonance level is reached.
Used to reduce pain, stimulation of the muscles, reducing the swelling (TENS, Galvanic, Interferential).
Treats painful conditions including general pain, pain after surgery, low back pain, foot pain, heel pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), carpel tunnel syndrome, nerve pain caused by diabetes (diabetic neuropathy), sports injuries, and migraine headaches.
A non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy acoustic waves to accelerate tissue repair and regeneration, reduce pain and inflammation and improve mobility. It can be used to treat various conditions affecting the bones, tendons, joints and soft tissues.
Cold Therapy reduces inflammation and pain, Hot Therapy reduces muscle spasm and increases blood flow.
Helps to reduce muscle spasm/tightness, increases blood flow and reduce swelling.
Helps to reduce tightness of muscles.
Often prescribed to increase or maintain flexibility of your joints and to reduce stiffness. There are several types of range of motion exercises including the following:

Passive Range of Motion (PROM) Exercises
Active Assistive Range of Motion (AAROM) Exercises
Active Range of Motion (AROM) Exercises
Is a specialized form of physical therapy delivered with the hands as opposed to a device or machine. In manual therapy, physiotherapists use their hands to put pressure on muscle tissue and manipulate joints in an attempt to decrease back pain caused by muscle spasm, muscle tension, and joint dysfunction.
s a technique used by physiotherapists for injury prevention or rehabilitation. The physiotherapists can also teach you how to apply the tape yourself so you can continue to experience the benefits. The benefits of taping will depend on your injury. Your physiotherapists will aim to encourage some of the following benefits:

Protection of injured soft tissue structures (ligaments, tendons, fascia)
Injury prevention
Encourage normal movement
Quicker return to sport or work
Pain reduction
Improves the stability of a joint
Reduces the risk of re-injury
Reduces swelling
Is one element of movement that is important in sports and in day-to-day living. Coordination generally refers to moving two or more parts of your body at the same time to achieve a specific goal. That could mean turning a doorknob, performing dance steps or hitting a baseball with a bat. Adding certain exercises to your daily routine may improve your overall coordination.
